I had my interview on September 6th and I was told that we had to provide a joint sponsor. I sent the Affidavit of support from my joint sponsor along with my passport by DHL on September 20th.

The hardest part of this whole process is the waiting. When I had forms to fill out or the interview to prepare it was great but this is definitely the most trying.

Does anyone know if the consulate sends you an email when they send back your passport (hopefully with the visa!) or do you have to keep checking the DHL site.

Thank goodness for VJ. I don't know what I would do without all of you.

Peace and love,

Elle

Call DOS and ask if the visa has been issued yet. You can keep calling them to find out if it has and if it has been sent yet.

Montreal does jack all to tell you anything!

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thanks for the information!! DOS is Department of Security? Where can I find their contact info?

The only way I found out was when DHL/Loomis emailed me stating that the passport was picked up and provided a Waybill so that I could track it.

Thanks! :)

I just wanted to let you know that I actually got an email from DHL/Loomis saying that they had picked-up my passport from the consulate and that it would be ready in a few days and to check the website. I checked the website for the next 2 days but when I saw that it still wasn't registered on the website, I actually called the location where I was suppose to be pick it up from. They told me they had it so I went to pick it up. fyi - It finally appeared a day later on the website.

Good luck!
