Oh..And I have one more question.

I shouldn't have any problem to travel outside of the US and return with the I-797 NOTICE OF ACTION(says I-751 RECEIPT NOTICE), CORRECT?

As long as you have your valid passport, your expired greencard, and the original of that letter, which syays it extends your PR status for one year, you're good to go!

DON'T PANIC

I know, same here! I'm more worried about missing an RFE/interview appointment then having troubles at the border. I suppose even if we do get an interview, they can't schedule it within the week they mail the notice can they? I would hope they'd give more notice than that. Otherwise, we might miss it if we're out of the country! We're planning on going to Canada for 4 or 5 days in mid-August.

They are breezing through August pretty quickly though, already above 60% approval rate! Maybe they'll get to September by the end of June? Wishful thinking?

VSC has picked some speed recently, August 2011 approvals on VJ is now %61.

If they go like this, they will start adjudicating September filers in this month & hopefully October filers on mid-July.

You mean finish being adjudicated?

Yeah I just meant fellow VSC filers when I said "our thread" ;)

OMG I can't believe it!! Another person was approved so we're at TWO Sept approvals :o Is this real life?!

We are holding up well. Still waiting to hear about a job offer for the job in NY for Phil. We're checking up with them next week since we need to give our landlord notice of our move by the end of July if we are moving.

that's great Becca. I hope you guys hear something soon from them..

As for us, I am contemplating if I should apply for my mom's tourist visa so she could be here with us for my graduation from Nursing school, or just wait for my citizenship and not take the change of getting denied from USEM. So far we are leaning more to the latter. I will be submitting my N-400 application in August so I guess, I am not stressing so much with this ROC.

But I hope we get the approvals coming in! So far, we're hearing good news.
