Hello All,

I know the VT process is rather slow, so I've intensionally tried not to look for the update since I filed my I-751 on Oct-2011, and bio on Dec-2011.

Today I checked my status at the USCIS website expecting to see something updated,but I don't see anything..not even mentioned I-751!!

I've received I-797 NOTICE OF ACTION(says I-751 RECEIPT NOTICE)on NOV-18.

IS THIS NORMAL that I don't see anything at USCIS website until now?

When I suppose to see the update on USCIS website?

Suddenly getting really anxious. Did I miss anything? Do I need to do something before I get the approval letter?

Feb 6 10: Got my Greencard!

OCT 11 : Filed I-751

NOV 11 : Received I-797 Notice of Action.(It says I-751 receipt notice...1 year extended)

NOV 11 : CHECK_$590 cashed.

DEC 11 : Done Bio.

JAN 12 : Resident card date is expired.

Hello All,

Sometimes they update on-line status too, but most of the time you don't see anything, you just get your approval letter in a snail mail. You haven't missed anything, so don't worry.

FYI, it is not your turn yet, VSC is doing August 2011 applications right now. You will probably be adjudicated in August or September. Until then relax & enjoy your summer !......

I shouldn't have any problem to travel outside of the US and return with the I-797 NOTICE OF ACTION(says I-751 RECEIPT NOTICE), CORRECT?

Hi All! My petition was received October 4th 2011 and the status online still says "Initial Review". I was wondering if anyone else who petitioned in Oct has been approved? I looked at the processing time for Vermont and it said 8.1 months and that would be May. Maybe I'll hear back this month...but I was just wanting to know other ppls experience. Thank you!! :)
