Funny thing

Today we got letter stating that our new GC was being produced and will be here in 60 days or less.

We got card last week

2 in Sedona Az

I don't want to be rude but there are plenty of people still waiting for approvals and many have been waiting longer than 5 months. We all have circumstances that warrant a quick approval. I wouldn't recommend sending in any more documentation, it will probably get lost. If they need something else, they'll send an RFE. You can always call if you like but they won't be of much help unless it's been 6 months for CSC. Even then, unless you speak to a level 2 officer, they will just read you what they see online which is the same as you can track on the USCIS website. We'll never understand the ways of USCIS and we all must sit and wait patiently. At least we get to do it together.

That's ok, I understand that's how it goes. I guess just gonna wait till 6 months and than give them a call.

My wife received her green card today. We were approved on March 15, 2012.

The interesting thing is March 15 was the day after I called to make sure we hadn't missed an RFE or appointment notice in the mail. The woman on the phone said there hadn't been any activity on our file since it was received. She was also very polite (which is weird) on the phone. Probably coincidence, but we were approved the next day. The letter we received is stamped by Mark J Hazuda, NSC Director (?). We didn't have an interview or an RFE during any part of the AOS/ROC process. We didn't include any affidavits from anyone either; that question seems to come up alot.

Best of luck to those who are still waiting.

Congrats on the approval! Wow only 4 more CSC approvals to go. I think we have a rather small group for both CSC & VSC compared to other threads. Maybe April will bring 100% approval for CSC filers!

Maybe 2012 will the see the beginning of approvals for October VSC filers

Not sure if the attachment is visible well enough, but the comforting idea is that volume of applications in VSC is lower second half of the year. Hopefully that means that we will see approvals faster than people who submitted in June, since the volume of I-751 filed were highest in June and March.

Wish they'd hurry up.

That is a pain Somehow Phil's license doesn't expire until 2013, not sure how that worked out. Sure hope he has the 10 yr GC by then!
