HI everyone.

I am so delighted to see that there has been approvals for the past months in CSC.

Our timeline from VSC looks debilitating. Wow, its been 6 months since the first ones submitted and still no news.

I would like to join Cutie_Patootie with congratulations to people getting conditions removed from GC! Having to deal with immigration experience is not something a lot of people I know have experienced, so I am glad this forum exists for information and moral support:)

My husband will have to apply for removal of conditions on his CR1 coming up in June - I just wanted to know what is entailed with the Biometrics part of the process? Where will we have to travel for it? We are in Arizona.

Biometrics is where you go and get your fingerprints so they can run a background check on the green card holder. Do you know where your local office is?

Wow!! Received green card today. I'm surprised at how soon we got it. On March 13 we received a text that usps had picked it up from center.

The decision date was 3/9 and green card received 3/15. Don't know how to update list. Hope everyone hears good news soon

We really belong with the September group , I mean we should of filed then , but were late , filed sometime in October and today , received our green card , it's really very pretty looking .

So , 3 months before the first one was approved , we are gonna start on the naturalization process .

I believe that's December 10th 2009 , so in September is when we will start

All you need is three years as a permanent resident to start on the process

Anyway, I just got back from the Philippines, stayed there for 3 weeks. I just want to let some who have worries in travelling outside the country with their expired GC to NOT worry at all. The officer just asked me "did you know that your GC is expired?" I told him "yes" and told him about my one year extension and showed my scanned papers (I left my papers, so I have it scanned by my sis in law and email it to me), he looked at it then that's it : )

I hope that at least one from the VSC filers will get their GC by April. It is taking them too long. smh

Thanks for sharing, that's good to know! I don't think us October VSC filers will see any movement until at least June. VSC is still approving June 2011 filers and just started on July :/

it's been 5 months for me (California). I'm loosing my patience and I have curcumstances, I need my card (or at least RFE by now). I'm thinking about writing them, calling would be too early I guess (I have to wait until 6 months for that, right?). Also since we sent I-751 package, we've got some more evidence (car together, lease and some other stuff). I almost feel like just sending it without them asking, do you think it's a good idea?

I don't want to be rude but there are plenty of people still waiting for approvals and many have been waiting longer than 5 months. We all have circumstances that warrant a quick approval. I wouldn't recommend sending in any more documentation, it will probably get lost. If they need something else, they'll send an RFE. You can always call if you like but they won't be of much help unless it's been 6 months for CSC. Even then, unless you speak to a level 2 officer, they will just read you what they see online which is the same as you can track on the USCIS website. We'll never understand the ways of USCIS and we all must sit and wait patiently. At least we get to do it together.

Today we got letter stating that our new GC was being produced and will be here in 60 days or less.

We got card last week
