Seems USCIS liked my package I sent - no interview, no RFE -

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on March 2, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days."

I normally checked their site each day - but the last week - I figured to wait till the 6 month kicked in.

No problem :) It is very frustrating that VSC is so far behind CSC, yes :( It looks like a 7-8 month processing time for VSC, with some exceptions of course. If that's right..looks like we're waiting until May/June for approvals to start rolling in. I'd love to see it happen quicker but I'm not expecting it.

A friend of mine over in the June thread has her notice of approval from VSC. 8 months for hers. Man they are slow aren't they.

Congrats!! Was that the notice on USCIS' status website? That's a new one- never heard it before! But anyhow, that's great!

We received the same notice via e-mail and text as well as the status updating on USCIS's website.


Must have info for bringing your Philippine wife/fiancee's child to the US

Hi Bobby and Umit. Yilmaz and I sent our packet into VCS on Oct.5th and had the biometrics on Nov. 8th. Still no word.

Congratulations on your good news though!!! California is working fast!! :)

Hi Yurika & Jim. Our paperwork was received on 10/5/11. Biometerics were taken on 11/8/11.

I am so delighted to see that there has been approvals for the past months in CSC.

Our timeline from VSC looks debilitating. Wow, its been 6 months since the first ones submitted and still no news.

Hi Bobby and Umit. Yilmaz and I sent our packet into VCS on Oct.5th and had the biometrics on Nov. 8th. Still no word.

Congratulations on your good news though!!! California is working fast!! :)

Hello!

We just came back from a two week vacation to Turkey saturday.

Our date of decision was 02/27/2012

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
