I'm anxious to see out first approvals on the list...

I know for sure us in VSC will not hear anything after the biometrics for a good 5 more months.

My friend from New Orleans, who happens to be the same ASC with me hasn't gotten her Green Card yet that's already good 8 months since filing date.. After my Biometrics this 24th, I'm gonna kick back and relax and of course just wait till I'm out with barbeque and beer.

F2A

Petitioner (My Mom)

Beneficiary (My Sister 18 y.o)

06-07-19- Sent I-130

06-11-19- NOA1

02-19-20- "Initial Review, Transferred to another Visa Center"

03-11-20- APPROVED!!!

You never know, timing could always swing back the other direction. Either way, we'll probably apply for citizenship in September.

NOA 2. Really?

Done with my biometrics. My ASC was full when i got there in the morning and i was told to come back on my appointed time.

I was kinda surprised coz during my AOS I was the only customer there and they took me in before my appointed time. I was hoping it will be the same this time but alas no.

Anyway i'm glad this biometrics is over and done with now.

I've a question for those VSC filers who had their biometrics already. Did you guys get an update/touch after your biometrics? I checked mine and no update after my bio. just wondering...

I'm wondering when is the best time to apply for citizenship based on marriage (3 years). is it within that 90-day window or after 3 full years?

Hit the 90 window, no benefit in waiting 3 months...

If you follow THIS LINK, you'll see that about half of the September Filers from CSC have already been approved!

Here's hoping we're not too far behind them...

Thanks Bob 4 Anna. I just don't want to be too early in sending my application.

Phil never got a touch after the biometrics and still hasn't since our NOA was issued in October...

One can only hope! :P I'd rather be pleasantly surprised then sitting on pins and needles for 6+ months so I'm trying not to expect it for a while.

Yup neither did I! I am tired of seeing the only update on my case status, as Initial Process since the NOA :hehe::) I do have a silly question (but someone wise once said, there's nothing like a silly question, so I will go ahead.. ;) ) ....

Our 1 year extension is that as per our GC expiry date, or NOA date?

I actually have the same question! My guess was, from how it was worded in the NOA1, that it's extended from the conditional GC expiration date. Either way I'm hoping we're not still waiting in either October or January!

I think you are right, sounds like the GC date is moved by a year! ... I know...hoping none of us have to worry about this, and we all hear approvals before that!!
