I believe you can receive an RFE at any stage in the process.

I just spoke to a friend of mine in New Orleans who filed ROC too last May, (of course same Service Center as mine) I asked her how long did it took her to receive her Bio Appt letter, she have told me that 2 months, that the Service Center that time was full on scheduling; she added. If this is the case for me too, guess I just really have to wait and just go with the flow.

That's the best advice anyone can give, unfortunately. I know I was frustrated too and our bio letter came one or two days before the 30 day mark where I could have called. This whole process is a huge waiting game and we can just be thankful that we are together with our SO this time around instead of waiting in separate countries!

We did Josue's biometrics appointment yesterday. What a waste of 5 hours in the car! His appointment was at 12, we got there at 11:20 and were out by 11:40. They made me sit in a separate room but let him come out to ask me a question about the form he had to fill out. Now we just wait, wait, wait. In the meantime, I'm nesting like crazy but I think I finally have the baby's room finished!

That is an annoying waste of time to drive 5 hours for a 20 min appointment

Congrats on your little one & the baby room though! :dancing:

We arrived 45 minutes early for our bio appointment on November 18th. We were surprised at how friendly and efficient everyone was. We were finished in less than 40 minutes. I guess we have a long wait now since we're dealing with VSC. Good luck to everyone!

I'm a November filer and still waiting for bio too. It's kind of upsetting when you see a lot of the VSC November filers have their bio appointment and it seems like you get skipped over. Maybe it's a Florida thing.

Wow, looks like 4 September filers from CSC were already approved :o Of course, none from VSC  But that is very fast processing for CSC so that's one positive thing!
