Now its making me wonder what's taking so long for me to receive my Bio... Sent it same day as RebeccaandPhil... still haven't receive it..

I'm flying out on the 13th od Dec, I kinda want my Bio done before that. :(

Is that far for you? Memphis is on the border....?

It about a 2.5 to a 3 hour trip, and the same back. I am hoping the roads won't be an issue by then. And I am more amazed than anything that I can't do this in the state I live in.

Apparently there's no local office in VA either because they are sending us to Durham, NC - a solid 2.5 hours away. Washington DC would have been 3 hrs.

07.29.09 - EAD Card Production Ordered & AP Approved

11.23.09 - AOS touched - card production ordered & welcome letter sent - 13 months exactly after initially applying for K-1!

03.15.17 - scheduled for an interview on 04.21.17, had to write a letter asking for a reschedule because we will be out of the country

03.31.17 - scheduled for an interview again

Our other choice, if we lived a bit west of here, would be Fort Smith. They are about the same distance from me.

We did AOS in Virginia. They sent us to Alexandria VA. Wonder why you are heading out of state?

Right, you would think Little rock would have an office.

There is a local office in Little Rock. I dunno what they do there, but biometrics isn't one of the things :blink:

It is nuts. The entire thing takes about 15 minutes, and then you are back on the road again.

You'd think they would come up with a more streamlined method really. There are people from February still waiting for approval.

Hello,

We just received our Biometric appointment for 12/5/11 at CIS Raleigh/Durham, NC. We will be out of country on this date so want to do a early walk-in at the CIS center. Has anyone done this at other CIS center or even at the CIS Durham center ? I would appreciate your kind feedback. Thanks,
