i-864 help need so bad

You are making a very simple thig way too hard...

1) Do your taxes

2) read the directions for I-864....they are the clearest of any form you will have to fill out

3) Fill in the form

4) Then and only then will you know if you have a shortfall, and if you do, how big it is, and do you have enough assets to cover the shortfall if there is one

5) Stop wasting your time waiting for someone here to tell you what the right answer is

6) DO YOUR TAXES !!!

7) Then and only then can we have a conversation that is meaningful--in the meantime you are wasting your time and our time

if your gross/before taxs.. is BELOW 125% you need a sponsor..

now i got it ...i cam in 2008 but i spend 1 month then go back and come back in 2009 .i can only file 2009 and 2010 .no 2011 ..but the nvs is asking for thee years what should i do ??????

that would be your 3rd year needed for tax forms..

no i didnt get any check as i told you the my time line is not correct ..

what im saying is truth like i cam in 2008 and spend 1 month here get my stuf togather and then go back to home and ocmplete my college and i cam after 9 or 10 months and then i started my bisiness that is how i kno now i should file 2009 2010 and 2011 but i cant file 2011 b/c its not completed yet but the nvs is asking for three years tax returs i dont know what should i

It says three years or if you were not required to file, a letter explaining why not. The explanation for 2008 is that you had no earned income--EASY !!!

PLEASE READ--you will feel a lot better about the process and it will speed things up immensely. your PROJECTED 2011 income goes on Line 24 that asks for your current income--it is NOT part of the three year question.

So, get your taxes done, READ THE DIRECTIONS, and completely fill out the form to see what it looks like--REALLY !!!

zaidkhan, I think some people here are misunderstanding what you are asking. I don't know that I understand either, but I think I do. You are asking about how to claim your expenses so that you show enough income from self employment to qualify you for the 125% of the poverty level to qualify you to petition.

I am self employed with part of my income. I have a tax accountant figure my taxes because of the tax code changing, and they understand better than I what to do as with my business I have depreciation scales that I don't understand, so I actually come out ahead by having a professional do my taxes, because if I did them myself I would either get into trouble with the IRS or I would not claim expenses that I am allowed.

What I have read from others here is that if you are self employed, you declare allowed expenses that show you make less money, even putting you under the 125% of poverty, you can do your taxes by not declaring as many expenses which will show you making more money. That will cause you to have to pay the IRS more money, but maybe it will be worthwhile when it shows you have a higher income. These people writing that I have read even suggested having your taxes ammended for the last 3 years to show a higher income by declaring fewer expenses. There is nothing wrong or illegal about declaring fewer expenses, and the IRS will be glad to accept your money, then it will make you show that you earn more money, helping you to be above the 125% of poverty level. You need to have your tax accountant help you to figure out how many expenses you have to avoid claiming to reach that level, and then claim that amount of expenses, pay your taxes, and then your IRS return will show that you earn the amount of money you need to qualify as the sponsor while petitioning. You really need to speak to a tax attorney and not rely on forum members as gospel. Your situation is pretty complicated and tax fraud is serious stuff. Unfortunately uncle Sam won't be sympathetic on my the basis " I didn't know about taxes". Good luck..
