Conditional Residence

Hi,

I am a US citizen and my wife arrived in the US in January of 2011 on CR1 visa. After she arrived she got pregnant. She didn't have health insurance. Since she was already pregnant, nobody was willing to give her insurance because pregnancy is considered as a pre existing condition. So, she applied for MCHP. It is a state and federally funded insurance for children, and pregnant women. I met their income requirements and she got the insurance. Will this raise a red flag with USCIS when she applies to remove the conditional residence next year.

Benefits Not Subject to Public Charge Consideration

"Under the agency guidance, non-cash benefits and special-purpose cash benefits that are not intended for income maintenance are not subject to public charge consideration. Such benefits include:

Medicaid and other health insurance and health services (including public assistance for immunizations and for testing and treatment of symptoms of communicable diseases, use of health clinics, short-term rehabilitation services, prenatal care and emergency medical services) other than support for long-term institutional care"
