Ok so I applied for the k-1 visa in February. everything was fine, i did get a RFE, which was quickly submitted. We received the NOA2, great...but about a month ago they sent us the packet 4 directly with the interview date etc. This is without sending them anything else besides the initial forms... so like no packet 3 was sent to my fiance or anything, and therefore he didnt send anything back to the embassy... I thought this was normal but now that I am thinking about it...it doesnt seem right... like how are they going to verify everything at the time of the interview? --which is Monday btw... like the affidavit of support, police clearance etc... all of it is with my fiance, they have never seen it before...am I just being paranoid? or is this normal? just in case our stats:

met while I was in Highschool in jordan

Both Palestinian/Jordanians

I was Born in the US

dated fr 2 years until I came back to the US for University

I am about to graduate this year... together 5 years almost now

He is 25 I am 20

we have plenty of proof, and I have visited back to Jordan plenty of times with my family

common friends overseas etc..the works

I hope someone could help me out because this is really confusing me

some consulates in middle east, mostly arab countries dont have a packet 3,they require you to bring everything and i mean everything to the interview, they have probably attached a list of documents needed to the interview letter.its not abnormal

Because he will submit the forms required when he checks in before the interview and that will give them time to look them over. As with the police clearence and medical and all they come from offical places so they do not have to validate them.

That's very interesting. My husband is from Lebanon and we are entering the NVC stage. I wonder if this will be the same case for Lebanon. :innocent:

a good example is this, the ankara embassy requires a packet 3 for all beneficiaries, but the abu dhabi one doesnt ( i used these two because i specifically know about both of them ).

youre all good, dont worry, just have everything with you.when you do have to send the packet three in,they usually email you and let you know if you missed out something and tell you to bring it to the interview,it doesnt cause much delay.but if you dont have a packet 3 then you have to have EVERYTHING at the interview

What consists of everything?

I have all of the forms stated on the checklist they sent me and the NOA1 and NOA2 but unfortunately I dont have the I-129f etc that I had sent out originally...My lawyer flipping lost my file when he was moving offices :/ (sooooooooooooo pissed about that... and that douche supposedly is a supreme court lawyer...) but yea and I have proof etc...even more than in the beginning because i had gone back after i sent out everything twice... and it is all very neatly compiled into a binder-- in an extremely impressive manner I might add
