Hello I'm F1 Student on OPT program I had my work authorization card and I have A number my work authorization will expire on July 2013.I'm filling green card application, I have just got married.

I have the following Questions.

1-do I have to fill I-765? i mean if I did not file I-765,will I get work authorization with my green card?"it said in the application instructions

"" if you want to work while your application is processed (optional)""

2-in form i130 #10, they are asking for A number mine is 9 digits starts with 1,do I have to remove the 1 and put A instead?

3-my father has different family name due to "in Syria the do not know how to spell names in Eng" do I need to put his name as my passport state or as my fathers passport state?this for g0325a form.

**if you think i need to do my case because of these Questions please point this in your answer.

thank you all

have great day !

You do not have to file the I-765. As the instructions say (and as you quoted), it is optional. You can work on the EAD you have through OPT until it expires. Onde you are issued a GC, you do not need any separate documents to work.

Don't remove any numbers. That number - as it is - is your A#. Just put the nine digits in the box.

The third question, I'm not sure if I am understanding you correctly.. If you have a different name than your father, you write Your name for the sections that request your name, and your fathers name for the sections that ask for his name. If his name is different (spelled differently..?) than yours, then you use that name for him. Whatever matches both of your passports should be the best way to go.
