Thanks!!! Yeah we're both trying to stay busy with work and also working on projects with each other....I very much hate the waiting game  Fortunately it seems like Vermont is getting a bit better, they went from last processing date of March 15th to 5 months again. So, hopinggggg (L)

Quick question, when you guys sent your AOS, what did you write for the address, did you just address it to USCIS, po box 805887, chicago etc etc, or did you address it to a certain department or 'attention' to anyone?......i hope that makes some kind of sense :)

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

The addresses are:

For USPS delivery:

USCIS

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

For courier/express delivery:

USCIS

Attn: FBAS

131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

I personally did USPS delivery confirmation (not signature because it's pointless... they don't actually check ID or anything... found that out when they let some random 13 y/o boy sign for my wedding pics which I only found out because his mother re-forwarded the pics to us) to the "courier/express" address.

Paypal because its FREE :) I have one Paypal linked to my Aussie account. Another for my US account. I transfer from my Aussie bank account to Aussie paypal. Then I send the money to my US paypal. Then I send to my US bank account. Might take a few more steps. And takes a few days but due to it being free, makes total sense to me :P

Here are the rules for the fees: https://www.paypal.com/au/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees You have to "add money" to your Aussie paypal first (using the add money function) in order to avoid paying the fees. If you don't have a paypal balance it draws from your account and that's when it charges you a fee.
