hello,

on the checklist(Packet 3) it says I need a police certificate for all the other countries I lived at least 1 year or longer.

So on my form DS 230 question 30 which says list all places I lived for at least 6 months, I wrote Canada from 01-2003 until 01-2004.

It looks like 1 year but it was not exactlly 1 year. There are some days missing to be 1 year.

The problem is I send it already out and was wondering not that they think I need a police certificat from Canada.

Do you think it would be enough I just tell them in the interview if they ask me about this or should I send them a new form DS 230 with the date, month and year.

On the paper it says only month and year, that´s why.

thanks for your help

I have to say since they only look at month and year, they would consider your stay one year. From January to January is one year. Just get the police certificate as they will more than likely ask for it. They are probably not going to want ro debate technicalities with you, they will just want you to get them the police clearance. Better to be on the safe side
