DOS SAID ITS IN REVIEW

hello everyone i would like to ask you question its been 3 months from my interview on 15th June 2011 in Islamabad as they ask for Jointsponsor and give 221G with Mandatory Ap but the consular officer said ill give you favor if you provide correct papers whichs says that my step son dont live with her mother as i provided after 3 days thru token then after few days we sent email to embassy they said they havent recieve anything and on the next day the embassy said we have recive that and its in Review ..and then on 25th July My wife recive a call from the Same Consular Officer name Andrew who did a phone interview with my wife and what he said to my Wife that technically he is not allow to tell your approved but i can tell you dont have to worry about anything and we dont need any further additional documents and now the last step is name check and we are doing name checks for your Husband. and after that we call DOS so many times all the Time its Pending by Some Guy and he also said i think they are working on it when they are finalize they will contact you thru Email and then my wife speak with Kathleen she said sumtime embassy dont update until the visa issued and the next thing u will hear would be Welcome to United States

and then she speak with Sarah she said i can see updates they are working on it but i am sorry i cant discuss with you ....and today my Wife call and Kathleen Said this :

Kathleen said its in review at embassy and she didnt see any checks for washington and that when they make their final decision they will contact us..last update was in August Now and didnt say what that was if it was going into checks or cleared from checks

So ill be very Grateful if any one of you tell me what does that mean Review At Islamabad Embassy !!! any help will be appreicated !! Thanks.
