Can two seperate individuals file i-130 for the same individual?

We are going to file i-130 for my sister. My mother has a GC and I am a US citizen. Waiting time if my mother files is less than what it is if I file. There is a slight chance my mother may go back to her home country and we do not want to risk it. So my question is can two people file I-130 for the same individual?

As far as I am aware yes 2 ppl can file i-130 for same beneficiary.

Someone can correct me on this one - GC holder can only file for minor children.

i belive, each person needs to file 1-130, some one correct me,

yes they got to be seperate with seperate fees.

That's incorrect, GC holders can petition unmarried children of any age.
