Hello,

I am filing an i-485 for my husband and I am a little confused about the Visa Bulletin... does the bulletin just let people know how many people have been given a green card? or status change?

Why do the instructions say to check with the visa bulletin to ensure that my priority date is current before I file my appliction? what is my priority date?

If someone could help clarify this, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you visajourney!

Are you filing AOS or K-1? this is posted in the wrong section if you are filing AOS.

What is he adjusting status from? If he is adjusting from tourist / student / work from inside the USA? then priority date is no concern to you. You file based on the guides with the I-130.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13
