Hi guys my fiance had his interview today in Kabul, it took him more than 6 hours because there was a lot of waiting going on. he was asked couple of questions and he answered all but one, they asked him about my co-sponsor.

where does your cosponsor work? (my fiance all honest), said I don't really know, my co-sponsor is my fiancees family friend and I don't know that much about her.

He said that the lady who interviewed him was very nice. She told him that his medical papers are missing( the clinic didn't send it to the embassy) and his identification card needs to be translated here in Afghanistan. She told him to go the clinic and bring the papers and also translate your ID and bring it back. At the end my fiance asked if he needs another interview?? she said no, just bring the missing things.. so is this a good news or bad news? Is there still chance of him going under AP? by the way they kept his passport

Keeping the passport is a good news, However he still might go the AP just because countries like Afghanistan and others is mandatory AP.

Lets hope that he wont go under AP, most of the interviews that took in Kabul not in Pakistan didn't go under AP.. My friends fiance got his visa two weeks ago and no AP and I know a lot of others that didn't go under AP. So lets just pray and stay hopeful :)

Well I just expressed what I heard a lot. However the kept his passport so it is a good thing already.

yes yes me too, I heard that a lot but only from those who were interviewed in Pakistan. Before May 2011, all the Afghanistan visa interviews took place in Pakistan. I am a little worried about that, I don't want to go under that dilemma. Anyways thank you for your information. Good luck with everything

AP is administrative processing. They put your case for further review which is usually to determine if you are a terrorist or not lol,, If you look at my fiances records, he has been studying almost all his life. because of his smartness he finished high school when he was 14 years of old. after that he went to a university got his masters and become engineer so he is not the type of person who should go under AP but you never now  I will pray and stay hopeful :D
