I don't need to be a Muslim or a Christian to say that stoning/amputations/throat cutting are wrong - and any religious book which advocates it is wrong and that part of the book should be rejected by everyone including you

Christians have moved on and now reject 'an eye for an eye' - so why can't Moslems reject any part of their book that advocates cruelty ?

I am told on this forum that the Qur'an does not contain any physical punishments and I am sceptical of that because these punishments appear in so many Muslim countries while Muslim posters on here say that's just a coincidence

I don't believe it, though I would need an objective scholar to quote from the Qur'an and prove it or an honest Muslim to admit that these things are included

I reject cruelty, and I don't care if you worship one legged elephants or long dead Saudis or long for bus loads of virgins so long as it doesn't involve cruel punishments encouraged by your holy book.

That's an underhand tactic to say I am baiting - that's cheating and you regularly do that when you are losing the debate and your points are exposed.

Any christian will tell you there are horrible punishments described in the bible and so I don't know why you are so scared to admit that there are similar in your book

You have obviously run out if evasions when you reach for your 'kill the debate PC keyword tools' so there is nothing more to debate

oh yippee, another fbi created terror threat unraveled by the people who started the whole plan in the first place.

But whatever else is true, it's simply unrealistic in the extreme to expect to run around for a full decade screaming WE ARE AT WAR!! -- and dropping bombs and attacking with drones and shooting up families in multiple Muslim countries (and occupying, interfering in and killing large numbers before that) -- and not produce many Rezwan Ferdauses. In fact, the only surprising thing is that there seem to be so few of them actually willing and able to attack back that -- in order to justify this Endless War on civil liberties (and Terror) -- the FBI has to search for ones they can recruit, convert, convince, fund, and direct to carry out plots.
