The links you provided were from 2010. Are there any recent examples you can provide?

you think this kind of garbage just magically stopped happening once it turned 2011 or something?

It's BS anyway.

I'm a Christian by birth (atheist by choice) and I can tell you that no-one has ever spat

on me in Jerusalem.

Christ Church, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Church of St Mary Magdalene - got in and out

of these places 100% spit-free.

let me guess-you were fully dressed in vestments, carrying a cross, participating in a religious ceremony with your co-religionists at the time, right?

do you tell women that say they've been raped that they're full of bs anyways because you've gone the same places they have and never been raped there too?

because yours is the only experience that counts right? sorry, but you're the one peddling bs here, not me.

We were there airlifting/convoying civilian casualties in Bosnia & I was spat by Muslims...... but seeing as they had no idea what religion I am- it was probably more to do with the flag on my sleeve.

i'm sorry that happened to you.

Dude forget about Jew spitting on Christian... the question is would any muslim country let ppl from other religion come in there and let them distribute the literature to convert ppl?

morocco hosted a christian rock festival/gathering a few years back. not everyone approved or thought it was a good idea, but there was certainly no violence. the ones that didn't like it stayed home, or expressed their criticisms in a completely civil manner.

So you think rock festival and converting ppl are same thing?

Can ppl from other religion stand in market square in morocco and distribute literature saying islam is wrong and they will show them the true god?

Can you?

No - just curious to see if you could find something more recent to back up your statement. I know a lot of people who have been there and no one has come home and told of being spit upon. I did a search and the most recent story was from 2010, but most were older. I have a client just back from Jerusalem - I called him and asked...he didn't see any spitting.

I get it, that was my point. I just wonder why these old stories keep getting dusted off and put out for public consumption and why are these stories not questioned more thoroughly? My client is from Jerusalem and has family still there. He tells me he hasn't seen any spitting in a very long time. Since he just came back, I tend to believe him over stories from 2010.

the music at that show was clearly promoting christianity. but no one in morocco hacked any of the performers or promoters phones and screamed obscenities about Jesus or christianity there.

and while morocco's not a bastion of proselytizing freedom, it's clear israel isn't either. there are some real crazies there, just like anyone else. and while most israelis find them abhorrent, until things get really, really escalated, there's entirely too much tolerance sometimes for hateful acts.

this is ami ortiz, a messianic jew who had a bomb left on his doorstep on purim a few years ago, by a jewish west bank settler terrorist who didn't like messianic jews living in ariel.

When Teitel walked into court, the U.S.-born West Bank settler shouted that God was proud of him. "It was a pleasure and honor to serve my God," Teitel reportedly said. "God is proud of what I have done. I have no regrets."

Police said Teitel is an ultra-Orthodox Jewish nationalist who picked out his targets based on his nationalist philosophy.

Along with the Ortiz case, police said Teitel is responsible for the June 1997 shooting death of Samir Bablisi, a Palestinian taxi driver who was found in his cab with a single bullet wound to his head. Two months later, police said, Teitel shot Isa Jabarin, a Palestinian shepherd who was giving Teitel driving directions to Jerusalem.

Police also said that Teitel attempted to burn down a monastery and unsuccessfully planted several bombs. He is also accused of the September 2008 bombing of Zeev Sternhell of Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The bombing left the emeritus history professor slightly wounded.

Rabbi Sholom Dov Lifschitz, head of the ultra-Orthodox Yad Leahim organization that campaigns against missionary activity in Israel, says Messianic Jews give him "great pain."

"They are provoking ... it's a miracle that worse things don't happen," he said.

you're the only one spewing "bs". the man was a victim of a hate crime, on a repeat basis, along with several of his co-religionists, and yet he gets deemed the "asswipe" here? unbelievable.

i already said morocco's not a bastion of proselytizing freedom. and in the link i posted, the father of this kid proselytized among palestinian muslims too. those same palestinian muslims told other muslims to ignore him and avoid contact. nothing at all wrong with that, or intolerant or disrespectful. it was orthodox jews who harassed the ortiz family, and an orthodox jew who left a bomb on their doorstep. an orthodox jew who had also murdered two palestinians in cold blood and bombed a university. so who were the tolerant and intolerant ones here?

i answered your question, you just don't like the answer.
