Maybe I am not looking in the correct place but I cannot seem to find this info. Once my fiance is here and we go to get married what documents will she need to marry me. Will her passport work or will she need a birth certificate or something else. I just want to make sure we have everything before we come back to the U.S.

3-5-2011: I-129F Sent

3-9-2011: NOA1

6-24-2011: NOA2

6-30-2011: NOA2 Hard Copy

7-19-2011: Received Case Number from NVC

08-08-2011: Sent Packet 3 to Embassy

09-12-2011: Received Packet 4 Instructions

09-28-2011: Interview: Approved

10-06-2011: Point of Entry

11-03-2011: Married

AOS:

11-17-2011: Filed AOS Packet

12-09-2011: AOS Check Cashed

01-01-2012: Biometrics

01-31-2012: Received EAD

07-20-2012: AOS Approved

08-01-2012: Received Green Card

The requirements vary between states - so you need to check the laws of the state you're gonna marry in. In NYC all we needed was the marriage lisence, IDs and a witness.

03/03/2011 - Day 0 - AOS -package mailed to Chicago Lockbox

03/04/2011 - Day 1 - AOS -package signed for at USCIS

03/09/2011 - Day 6 - E-mail notification received for all petitions

03/10/2011 - Day 7 - Checks cashed

03/11/2011 - Day 8 - NOA 1 received for all 4 forms

03/21/2011 - Day 18 - Biometrics letter received, biometrics scheduled for 04/14/2011

03/31/2011 - Day 28 - Successful walk-in biometrics done

05/12/2011 - Day 70 - EAD Arrived, issued on 05/02

06/14/2011 - Day 103 - E-mail notice: Interview letter mailed, interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2011 - Day 139 - Interview at Federal Plaza USCIS location

call the County Clerk office.. *well in texas we do*.. or check the COUNTY website..

in texas.. all my little lady would need is a Passport and a smile.

i needed ID and $70 for Wedding License.. :) in Travis County Texas.. we have to wait 3 days.. AFTER it is given to you.. don't know why.. lol

should be very similar..

In Virginia, my wife only needed her passport.

Call your County Clerk's office and ask them. They WILL tell you. It might be on a their website.
