We need to know which embassy you will be working with--each has a different backlog. Also, it is much easier overall if you fill out your profile and time line so we know exactly what we are dealing with.

We have submitted to NVC the DS-230 and other civil documents, question is how long are we going to wait for NVC reply regarding my MEDICAL and INTERVIEW schedules.

It usually takes a few months, depending on which consulate will be processing your documents, interview, etc.

I got my GC based on an F2B which later converted to an F2A. It took close to 10yrs during which I tried applying for the DV unsuccessfully. My GF who is a first time applicant got selected for DV2015! We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Hi Magical, would it be best to undergo the medical test whilst awaiting for the NVC sending of the medical and interview schedules? since the medical test is valid for 3 months. What can you suggest?

always best to wait. The medical takes only a few hours. You never know when your interview date may be.
