Toronto POE Question

Here is my dilemma. I need to book my flight back to Nashville because I will have my stuff back this week. Problem is my flight leaves Timmins on Wednesday morning at 6am and arrives at 7:40, my connecting flight to Nashville would only leave me 1hr30mins to get through customs and immigration. It's a Wednesday at 8am but I hate to miss my connecting flight. My other option is to fly to Toronto the night before and have nearly 12 hours before my next flight. I'm not sure what to do. I know it's better to be safe than sorry but I have nowhere to go for 12 hours and I'd be stuck at the airport.

1 hr 30 minutes is not going to be enough time. You're much better off flying in the night before. Can you book a airport hotel or motel? It would be worth the extra money to not have to sit around in the airport all night if you ask me. Find a hotel with a free shuttle so you don't have to worry about a taxi.

You should give yourself 3-4 hours to process through customs.

Also, if you go to Toronto, immigration opens at 5:30 am. Just thought that'd be helpful I got there at 6am and zipped through secondary quickly, although that airport can be rather unpredictable.

Thanks for the help!! I found another flight. I'll have an extra stop in Charlotte but it's worth it. It gives me 3 hours to get through immigration.
