need help regarding I-864, Affidavit of Support

hey everyone i need your guys help

this is case is regarding my brother and his wife this is his words.......

im green card holder i sumbit 130 for my wife and she got approved and her priroty date is 15 nov 2009

and i submit her visa fee and aos fee

now the nvc ask me to send the i864 and ds230 with her passport copy and original civil duments like marrige certificate her brith certificate and taxe returen and prof of income

so i dont know how to make the i 864 aos

i never paid the taxe for last three years and im self employed and my income is on cash all the time and i have a son he just born and he is 6 month old

i dont know how to pay my tax how much income should i show for my wife and kid i864 in tax paper that will equal to poverty line

i totly make 30000 usd every year that is my total year income

my questions are here

sopncer houshold size should be three me my wife and my kids( he is 6 month old )? or me and my wife mean two?

how much income should i show all 30000 usd nd pay the tax on that or shoud i show only 23162 usd and pay the tax on that or should i show 18387 usd andpay the tax one that?????

or which will be best two show the irs and pay the tax and that will help my wife and kids to come here. should i pay the tax on $30000 or $23162 or $18387

and if i make $30000 per year but i have expansive too like pay the bills and other stuff tooo

if i make $30000 per year i have two pay tax on all $30000 or i have to less my expanse what will my amount come pay the taxe on that

im totaly confuise here

or what will be best that show the irs that i make this much money every year and pay the tax on that and that will be good for my wife and my kid or which will be good for i864 poverty line .so they can come over here

your household size is you, your wife and your baby.

As far as the income goes... you should have been filing taxes for everything you've earned... Once you got your EAD and a job you file taxes each year for ALL income earned. So if you made 30,000 a year in cash, you should have been paying taxes on that amount. They will want to know why you haven't filed taxes

Hopefully someone else can answer that for you but for the tax info.. you pay on everything you earned each year.

i cam to usa in 2009 and go back home after 6 months and my business was there too

then come back to use spend 6 months and go back home that is how i didnt pay the text but i want to pay all last three years tax but i still didnt get the answare of my question

If is about the amount that you need to show, our dear friend EAbbas already answered that, you HAVE to pay taxes on everything you earn regardless of the purpose. So you should pay on the 30k.

Maybe you should consult a good tax accountant to help you with this since it seems your income is from a self employment...

I don't know how to handle the taxes, so i don't know if your expenses got to do with your adjusted gross income, but as far as i know they only want to know how much you make a year period. They will then compare that number with the poverty guide line.

Try consulting a tax accountant.
