Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows or has been through what i went through, after my case was sent to the U.S embassy in Lebanon, and had my interview they requested more documents, They received them on the 25th of July( interview was 2nd of June 2011). After that they Administrative processing...on the 25th of August they sent me an email requesting for me to submit my passport, i did that and they gave a reddish small, square card/slip to pick up my passport with the next week...but the next day they called me to pick up my passport cuz they were not done with AP!!! why would they take my p.p if they were not done with AP? and told me they will contact me again.

Senator emailed them and was told AP, wife called DOS, they told her the case was pending in Lebanon, and that was approved from their end! all is of this is confusing to me.

my questions ARE:

What was that slip? and why did they return my p.p after two emails they sent for me to drop it off?

DOS said pending in Lebanon, does it mean it's all up to the Embassy now?

Thank you all, and would be great if I can get some info!!!!
