Hi everyone,

Sorry if there is already a post for September, but we filed our I-130 September 21st of this month and I'd like to know if there is anyone else out there that has filed this month.

I filed the 26th. And my petition was received the 27th. Have you received your NOA1 yet?

No, and I haven't received an email or text saying that my petition was received either. I don't know if this is common or not.

USCIS: 161 Days NOA1 to NOA2

9/1/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

9/2/11 - Arrived in Chicago Lockbox

9/6/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to California Service Center)

9/9/11 - NOA1 Hardcopy in mail

9/9/11 - Check cashed .... and the wait Begin

2/10/12 - NOA2...no whammies, pleaase, email only, no txt

2/12/12 - mother in law past.... She was an angel

2/12/12 - NOA2 Hardcopy in mail

2/13/12 - NVC rec' case ! No expedite, but I worked a few nervIes...

NVC STAGE: .......days from case # to case complete

2/13/12: NVC received case (information only given on 02/13)

2/23/12: case number and IIN assigned - gave email info to operator

2/24/12 :Paid AOS fee and DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

2/27/12: AOS fee PAID on payment portal, Fee was withdrawn from Bank Account. So,is PAID :-)

2/27/12: mailed AOS (USPS Express mail) & was told the NVC accepted the Choice of Agent but havent heard or saw anything different

2/27/12: Choice of agent accepted

2/28/12: IV fee invoice received by email

2/28/12: Paid IV fee

2/29/12: IV fee PAID on payment portal

2/29/12: IV package sent

3/12/12: IV package reviewed and accepted. AOS package not Recv'd

3/14/12: Case complete!

4/06/12 : Interview Date Scheduled for 05/31/12!

4/09/12: Case file sent to Dakar

5/18/12: medical

5/31/12: interview , ap asking for joint sponsor

6/12/12: APPROVED!!!!

6/14/12 : pick up visa!!!

Currently : waiting to pick up visa

I sent my pacakage on September 12th and USCIS officially received it on September 14th. I received an email on the 15th and my NOA1 came in the mail on the 19th. We'll see where it goes from there.

09/14/2011 Priority Date/Received Date
09/15/2011 Received email and text confirmation from USCIS that my application was sent to CSC
09/19/2011 Received I-797C in mail (NOA1)
04/26/2012 - Called USCIS for the third time and this time they put in service request
05/09/2012 - Recevied an email from USCIS saying that my case was being ajudicated and to wait up to 45 days
05/16/2012 - Received letter from NVC with number - No NOA 2 or updates online
05/17/2012 - AOS Bill - Received & Paid
05/17/2012 - Sent in optin email for electronic processing and received email back with confirmation same day
05/17/2012 - Sent in DS-261 Choice of Agent
05/21/2012 - Sent AOS package via email to NVC
05/31/2012 - Received checklist for IV form, but haven't been invoiced yet
06/06/2012 - Received invoice for IV bill & paid online
06/07/2012 - IV bill showed as PAID & IV application ready to fill out
06/08/2012 - Completed DS-260 IV application and sent it electronically to NVC
06/08/2012 - Sent IV supplemental documents package via email to NVC

01/05/2015 - 2nd bio completed

02/24/2015 - Received email saying that Greencard was ordered today

03/04/3015 - 10 yr Greencard received!

I know, which makes the process even more maddening. I'm just trying to stay busy to keep my mind off of it!

I got routed to CSC too. It contradicts all reports on VJ and Igor's list that CSC is backed up and VSC is processing faster. I thought the Chicago facility was supposed to route petitions to the facility with the most bandwidth. Whats up with that?!?

We sent ours last September 26th to Chicago Lockbox. October 3 found out the check was cashed. No NOA1 yet. Hope and pray all goes well with all of our journeys.

Petitioner's home address is a factor; however, there have been reports on VJ from people who live in Atlantic Coast states having their petitions routed to CA from the lockbox (haven't heard the reverse of people living in Pacific Coast states having their petitions routed to VT). The fact that Atlantic Coast state residents had their petitions sent to CA would suggest that load factors at CA and VT is a determining factor when routing petitions.
