Hi all,

My husband does not have any records of his vaccinations from abroad. We had a dr.'s appt yesterday (w/ my husband's dr who isn't a civil surgeon) and he had blood drawn to do the titres (or whatever they are called.) They said they would do it on most of the ones listed on the 693A and then give him boosters for a couple of them - but then he was saying how he wasn't going to do certain ones (i think he said mmr and polio) b/c they are childhood diseases and since my husband is 25 that it's not necessary. We are going back on monday to get the results and see what all else he needs for the forms... I asked the dr. if he would provide a "note" or letter stating what my husband has had, what he will receive now and what he doesn't need and the dr. said he would - I plan on taking that to the civil surgeon to do the actual form, and then mail it in all together - is that going to be sufficient or will USCIS insist on seeing something that says my husband has had ALL the vacs listed on the form??? Anyone had a similar experience?

To locate a designated surgeon to your nearest loation click the link http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/exec/cs/index.asp and bring the note from your doctor so that the civil surgeo knows what else your husband needs for his immunization and to be fill out to his immunization supplement form.

Just get the 693 done.

I've never heard of an rfe for a tetanus shot.
