Hi im new to this so please forgive me if i ask stupid questions.

Im filling out the I-485 for my wife and im down to the part where it ask me to list children.

my question is, do i list only the children she gave birth to or do i need to also list my three kids

that i had from previous marriage?

You only list children that your wife has (since she is basically applying for AOS, not you)...so your children from your previous marriage are not hers, so no need to mention them.

one more question. My wife has 4 children who live with her parents in the Philippines. We do not plan on bringing them to the us immediately. So the question is, if we are not applying for AOS for her children do they need to be on the I-485? and if yes will they require birth certificates for the children? we are running out of time to file the AOS for my wife, her 90 days will be up Oct. 17th and i don't want anything to slow down the approval. I figure we will have plenty of time to work on the children after her status is completed.

You need to list ALL her children, even if they are not coming right away. You will see on the form a question, "are they applying with you?", so answer No to the question but list all of them on the application.
