You need to attach 6 passport photos. But I'm sure you're talking about the regular pics for proof... Those are not needed. You'll be great with or without proof. Whether you get an interview or not, that's not based on proof. For the K-1 process, USCIS mentions clearly that you need to attach proof. So does the Dept. of State when it comes to the K-1 interview, per example. But they DO NOT require proof for I-485. WHY in the world would you give them? :) I don't mean to be hard on you, I know what I've written can be seen that way. But what I did was just voicing my thoughts about what some people do and say here on VJ.

Don't worry, you're ok!

I didn't see any where that it was required and was just double checking. It seems everytime we send off papers I get worried.

Isn't 2 passport photos required and not 6..?

It's 2 per application. 2 for AOS, 2 for AP and 2 for EAD. EAD and AP are optional so if you just file AOS then yes, 2.

We almost didn't send 2, we figured this out at the last minute. Common sense told us though that each form should be treated seperatly and sure enough searched it out and found the answer.

I doubt it did. I didn't think it would be a bad idea to send wedding pics in, that is why I initially asked the qustion.
