questions about Form I-130

Hi Guys,

in fact, i can just say that's an amazing website :)

well my first question is : my wife which is a US citizen is a tenant and i would like to know if i can write in the question N 19 in Form I-130 which it talks about : where your relative intends to live ?

so it works to write that address even though she just rented it and she is not the proprietary ? ... i mean regarding the question where i intend to live.

my 2nd one is : what if she will change her address and she rents an other home in an other address ? then, should my wife calls the USCIS and inform them that i changed where i intend to live ? or she just inform them that she changed her address ?

my 3rd question is : can i use my dad and my brother for the affidavits ? or just friends will be enough ?

thank you guys a lot for your helps

best greetings

It does not matter if the place your wife is living is rented or owned. Most people live in apartment complexes in America..At least and that should be the address that you should state that you will be living on ur forms.

If your USC wife moves to a new place , make sure she completes the change of address form on the uscis website and most especially if you have a pending application ,always have her call the customer service center and make sure that her new address is update. This will save you guys a lot of headaches and delays on the long run.

I am not too sure about the affidavit question too well, If She does not make too much money to support you herself, then you will certainly need a co-sponsor to push your application through NVC..I dont know if using your brother or dad as a co-sponsor can lead to a RED FLAG.

Hope this helps you out a little

Yes, that address can be listed as your address of intent.

She will need to inform USCIS of her change of address. When you complete the DS-230, you will be able to enter the new address on that form.

my 3rd question is : can i use my dad and my brother for the affidavits ? or just friends will be enough ?

Are you talking about the affidavits from 3rd parties attesting to the knowledge of your marriage? If yes, then your dad and your brother can each write a statement.

thank you guys very much for this help :) my last question is :

we love each other so much and we wanted to build a real family together and have kids that's why we got married, BUT her dad dose not know that we got married because she is not good with him because she told me : even if i tell him he will agree, but he knows just that we are engaged :( but she is adult, and actualy my wife is not good with him... can he be problem when we file for CR1 ? can the USCIS refuses it ? i mean : can the USCIS find it as excuse and refuse the application ?

thank you again :)

The fact that your wife does not get along with her father will have no bearing on the petition. People not having any kind of relationship with one or both of their parents is not uncommon.
