Did you call them on the 15th September to ask for a status update? It reads as if someone enquired about the case (likely you, or if you contacted your senator maybe them), and they are telling you you will get an update within 60 days.

Sounds like a threat letter, if you are over the age of 14, moved and failed to file an AR-11, could be in deep deep trouble. Doesn't request any further information.

So typical of some government agents, we just got a new FAA inspector, decent guy, but had to go through our records for the last 15 years. His boss insisted that even though flight inspection forms have not changed in the last 20 years, has a printed date on the lower left hand corner. He wants that date to correspond with the day that form was filled out. Totally positivity insignificant. Its the data on the form that is only of importance. But while this guy was new to our new inspector, have known him for years, totally incompetent, would even trust him to change a light bulb, technically. And the only reason why he was given a position of authority, was incompetent on actually testing and repairing this equipment. If you can't do the work in government, they make a supervisor out of you. Worked with guy before, made an major issue out of everything with exception of the performance of the equipment.

This is true of any government agency I had to deal with, with the USCIS being no exception, these are nasty people, incompetent, but one rule holds true, they have the power, so you have to be nice. Even though that may kill you.
