I just want to hear from people with the same ordeal as me or has heard about this Visa on FINAL REVIEW status

We had our application direct to the consular embassy in 2009 and had been interviewed in 2010 in Montreal

We got RFE from the Interview to provide i864 of a co-sponsor

We complied but co-sponsor is a Retiree and is receiving lots of money from pension though which is beyond the Poverty Line

But still embassy needs a 2nd co-sponsor

We Provided i864 for the 2nd co-sponsor and then I called the DOS

Dos said that our application is under FINAL REVIEW

This was last week and after one week I called again and still none

To be honest with you, we’ve been thru a lot of hurdles and it’s very disappointing

The back and forth of communication from Montreal to us and so on and waiting uncertainly is very draining

It’s been a year and my family missed their daddy soo much…

What is final Review, how many types of reviews are there?

Are we nearing our VISA approval. If so how long will I have to Patiently Wait?

I’ve been praying so HARD as I’m so stressed with this whole process….

Montreal is going over the final documents. Thats all.

Could take 4 months depending on how back logged they are at this point and where you stand in their huge pile.

Just keep calling DOS and asking for updates every so often.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

4 months is really really long, hope it won't take this long.

I want to get out of here before winter.

Very excruciating procedure, no regard for human feelings about family separation

Their standard process according to their email response is 6-8 weeks
