What is average time for 221g approvals?

Please, we are both going crazy with the wait. Anyone here had to send anything back to embassy after interview with 221g? What sort of time frame are we looking at here? My baby had to get an additional nbi clerance with her ex married name alias on it, its been sent back w/passport and now been at embassy since sept13 according to the 2go tracking no.

Seems each day i call the embassy and/ or the 2go service all they will tell me is it is not out for delivery yet. No one can tell anything else about its status. And i thought the waiting for noa2 was nerve wrecking... Sheeeesh...!!

We feel your pain. Her interview was on August 15 and they gave her a 221g requesting additional documents. We sent those through 2Go which screwed up and sent them back to her. She sent them again and the Embassy got what was requested on September 1st. We have been waiting ever since. Many calls and emails later and still nothing. I sent another email today and she sent a fax. I will give this another week and if no word back then I am calling my congresswoman. That is if she is not too busy on the US Debt Committee lol.

Well. i ALSO have a problem with my Birth certificate because i have 2 Birth certificate and the other one was my Mom last name..But I am using my dad last name since before cause all my papers under my dad last name.that is why I also need to get another NBI with AKA..

The Embassy is closed for a few days due to the Typhoon, so I would not count on hearing anything for a few days at least.
