Expedited Processing Approved!

Due to Medical Hardship. Now we're just waiting for the moment of truth. I think it takes about 5-10 business days to make a final decision.

Congrats on your expedite, may it be a very positive thing and your journey together can begin in earnest.

We're filing ours tomorrow both a expedite on medical reasons and the 601. I understood that the expedite, which is free to request, must be granted with a 15 day window, if you hear nothing then the expedite hasn't been granted. And that the expedite only means that the case will be faster than normal, not adjudicated within those 15 days although possible. Is this correct vision on expedite? Thanks,

I'm trying figure out how long approved expedites take? Anyone know?

IDK where you are in your journey cos your timeline isn't filled out but we expedited at the first stage USCIS level and got an email 4 days later saying they were expediting our case after request and then about 2 1/2 weeks later our i130 was approved.

took us about 4 weeks at the NVC and interview was scheduled and now almost 5 months after interview here we are pending AP.

10/02/2010 Nikah/Marriage in Karachi
USCIS JOURNEY
11/10/2010 -Sent
03/24/2011 i 130 approved!!!
NVC JOURNEY
03/30/2011 NVC received case-04/07/2011 NVC Case Number Assigned
05/03/2011 CASE COMPLETE- In Que for INTERVIEW!!-05/17/2011 Received interview letter and info via email
EMBASSY JOURNEY
05/20/2011 Medical Appt/passed
06/15/2011 Interview result AP
06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation
