Problem with name

Hi everyone,

My husband is a green card holder in the U.S and he has sponsored me 1 year now. When he petitioned for me, he used my maiden name which is Singh instead of his last name which is Felix. Now all the documents are beginning to process with the name Sing instead of Felix. Another issue, recently my passport expired so i got a new one and i changed my name from Singh to Felix on it. Please educate me on what can be done. I really appreciate all the advice I can get.

I would say yes. Since you do have the documents to support your request.

Just wanna let u know that I emailed NVC requesting for the name change and along I attached a copy of my passport and marriage cert. Two days after I got a response from them stating that the name was changed due to my request.
