I-130 Question 19

So this is the situation, both my wife and I live in Sweden. I am a U.S Citizen. We want to move to Colorado as soon as both of us have jobs there. The question is what we should write under question 19 in the I-130 form, since we not yet know exactly where in Colorado we will live? Would it for example be ok to write my fathers address, who currently lives in Colorado?

Yes, that would be acceptable. Now that doesn't mean you need to actually live there but having an address is important

One more thing, what if you are not sure of which state you will end up living in, my wife and I are applying for jobs all over the country. If I understand it correctly you just more or less need an address, you can then live in a completely different state, correct?

You can live wherever you want, of course. I'm not sure exactly how it all works, you might try asking in the CR-1/IR-1 visa forum as I'm assuming you're actually filing for a spousal visa and not adjusting status as you're both abroad?

Correct, both my wife and I are living in Sweden and we are filling for a spousal visa.
