I just watched this movie on Netflix. It is about a Muslim boy in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who grows up and enters college right at the time of 9/11 and how its affects the Muslim population of the U.S. Very nice film by Qasim Basir. It is based on actual events (I believe of the director's own life, although he only hints at this in interviews) and is filmed in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and Detroit. Danny Glover saw the short of this film at a festival and had his writers help the director work on the script. He later accepts a role in the film of the Dean of the school. With Roger Guenveur Smith, Nia Long and Evan Ross.
