Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding after interview process. What is the role of the tokens given out by the officer at the embassy after the interview?

does the color mean something? do we need to keep the token till we get the passport with the visa?

my husband had his interview on this past wednesday in islamabad, the interview went well and he was given a blue token and he was told that his

case has been approved and that they need to do some process but he doesnt have to worry. his visa may arrive between 5 days or a week or 2 months or the max 4 months.

i would like to hear about different people responses of what happd with them if they have similar situation and i would appreciate a response

thanks so much

Hi,

I found your post VERY interesting because this is the first I've read about it. I hope someone will be able to shed some light on this "token" thing. I sincerely hope you get answers from those who went ahead of you. I'll be watching this topic closely. My fiance is due for his interview very soon at Algiers. I'll be curious to know if he got the token thing too.

Sincerely, Emily

My husband was given a token after his interview and told he will need it to pick up his visa. I believe everyone interviewing at the Islamabad embassy is given a colored token to pick up their visa. Congratulations on the success of his interview and I hope and pray that your husband's administrative process doesn't last long.

My husbands' passport was kept and issued a purply pinkish token with serial numbers on it... the CO told him to keep that safe as it would be needed when he went to AMEX to pick up his visa.
