It was 5 days for us but I still waited until it was listed as enroute by the courier online before buying tickets.

05-31-2011 - RFE requested. They want better passport pictures of me.

06-06-2011 - Additional passport pics sent.

07-20-2011 - Packet 3 Received!

08-01-2011 - Packet 3 returned to Embassy.

Thats great! I didn't pay for early delivery. my interview was monday so I am hopeful that the weekend won't interfere too much. I see yours was wednesday.

its not showing up on the dx website yet so I am guessing it is still with the embassy. Hope I get a text tomorrow!

On the ds160, don't worry i did the same thing too! i even saw people with other forms and standing outside for as long as i was i started to wonder was i supposed to have one of them too (was a piece of paper with their picture on it)

Its so annoying! haha. I cried on off until I got in the door! People kept staring at me!

Visa came this morning. I paid for standard delivery and it came at 9.20! woo hoo!

What is this ds160 form? It confuses me, is it something k1 visa people need? The embassy goes on on their website stating

Applicants who appear without having completing the form will be asked to reschedule the appointment for another day.

It's for non-immigrant visas. The various visas are listed on the lower half of this page http://london.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visas.html

K1 (also non-immigrant) is processed like an immigrant visa because you intend to immigrate. K1s don't do I-160.
