pics for I-129f k-1 visa

Hello All

I am sending pictures of both of my fiance and I together. They are not engagement pictures.

The reason is the engagement pictures look too grand - more like a marriage with the fiance having mehndi and jewelry and garlands etc. Would it still be okay to send the engagement pics ?

Please let me know.

Be very careful, if an average person thinks it looks like wedding photos then its not recommended to use them.

I would make sure that a photo that shows traditional wedding ceremony not to send...If i were you I would not send something they can perceive as a wedding. I have heard people have been denied through the K1 way with including such photos. So its a safe bet if it looks like a wedding they will assume it is!

Just send a couple of regular pictures. They care more about passport stamps and boarding passes (primary evidence) than pictures (secondary evidence).

my fiance didnt get her visa due to picture issues.. pictures are very important! make sure u have pics with other people in it also.. not just pics of u and her alone!

I am assuming he was talking about sending the pictures with his I-129F

I am planning to show around 25 pics of just both of us but not anyone else in it.

No boarding passes but Passport Entry and Exit stamps.

Think these are sufficient.

Just pending one document; Police Clearance from my country.

Interview date is nearing, keeping my fingers crossed.

oh sorry! if that is the case that is not necessary but if your referring to the interview then it is very necessary! vital in fact!!

My fiance just had her interview on the 20th so i can say if u dont have boarding passes then print out the itinerary from the flight and also make copies of the passport page that has the entry and exits stamps from immigration. My fiance had lots of pics even over 25 of just me and her and the interviewer said it wasn't proof. He said he needed to see other people with us in the pictures such as family and friends! Also make sure to have phone records, emails, calling card records, receipts from moneygram/ western union, chat logs and love cards!! i wish i would have ask more questions on this forum before she had her interview.. Please use this forum to ur advantage! its a blessing and goodluck!!
