Hello everyone, I've received great advice from the posters here and everything is going pretty well. Yesterday I received my fiance's signed/completed 325a and her signed Letter of Intent. I have my 325a form and the I-129F 90% complete with just a few lingering questions I need help with.

Question 14 on the 129F asks where my fiance will live. I am currently living with my parents because I want to save money and have freedom to travel to Colombia whenever I want. When my fiance moves here we will obviously not be living here. We have a number of different options, but I don't know exactly where we will be living. I assume I should just use my current address?

Question 20 on the I-129F wants to know "Your fiance will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at: City:_______, Country:_____.

I assume I put Bogota, Colombia, which is where she lives and they have an American Embassy.

Sorry if these questions are dumb....I'm just asking about anything i'm less than 100% certain on. I want this paperwork to be perfect.

On the 325a form, it asks about my jobs. There is only one box for "present" job, but I have two. I worked at one job for 6 years, quit and took another full time job, then I started working my old job again in the evenings.....so I currently have two jobs (been doing this for almost 2 years now). I'm typing in all the info on my computer, and the form doesn't give the option to put "present" on two jobs, only one. What do I do here?

Also.....I'm sending in the "evidence of ongoing relationship" with the packet. How many photos do you recommend I send. I just made a disc to take to the printers with 13 or 14 photos of us together...about 8 from my first trip to meet her, and about 6 more from my 2nd vacation to see her. Most are of just the two of us in various cities, and I included a couple pictures of us with her various family members. Does this sound about right, or should I send more pictures? Also, do I split the pictures up so some go in the "proof of having met within two years" folder and some go in the "ongoing relationship folder"? Or do I just put them all in a zip lock bag and write "see photos" on a sheet of paper in each folder?

When it comes to actually sorting the various documents and photo copies into folders, how detailed do i need to be? I'm thinking of having three folders, one with the I129F, our 325a forms, our letters of intent, and a cover letter for the entire 3 folder packet. Folder 2 will be proof of having met within two years. I will list all the items in the same order they appear in the folder. Do I need to use folder tabs to separate everything? Same questions for Folder 3 which is proof of ongoing relationship. I'm going to have a list of all the calling cards i've purchased, a month or two of itemized phone bills, emails, hand written letters, copy of moneygram receipts from times i've sent her money, etc. Folder 3 will probably have the most papers in it, so I'm assuming I will need to get some color sticky tabs and label each section.

So to anyone who read all that, what do you think? Any advice or last minute reminders? Am I stressing out too much and worrying about little details about how the folders are organized?

With the address, yes use the one you are living at as it is the only address you have and you will probably be there initially anyway.

The two jobs - can you put one underneath the other and put Start date/till present for both?

The packet sounds rather elaborate. You only need to show proof of having met in the past 2 years at the initial petition stage. (e.g. Copies of passport stamps, copy of air tickets and boarding passes especially, photos showing the two of you together). The proof of ongoing relationship occurs during the interview stage.

best of luck..

Address - also agree you should just use your current address. I'm living at home again but plan on getting our own place once we get married.

Employment - thats the trouble with the electronic pdf. You could always leave the TO blank when you print it then write Present in after. Another option is to use a Continuation Sheet and explain it there.

Pictures - I used 8 total but printed two photos per sheet on photo paper.

I was advised here not to front load the petition and i agree. Im my case i just submitted evidence of my proposal. Photos of me proposing, engagement ring receipt, boarding passes, hotel receipts, and an explaination of how and when I proposed. Hope this helps and Good Luck.

hmm...now you've got me second guessing whether or not i should front-load. I figured it would be beneficial for them to have proof right up front to eliminate any question of whether or not we're "faking". My fiance is from colombia and I'm told that is one of the high risk countries for immigration.
