It's a game of chance

While I was having my scheduled appointment I overheard someone being turned away, and from what I overheard I think this was the third time they'd been turned away.

Can't do any harm though

I did mine here in Boston. 2 weeks erlier. The lady was very nice, and said that i had to talk to another person, then the man came, and asked why i came early and i gave my "excuse" lol and he just said that was the worse excuse he ever heard, but at this time he was gonna let me pass...and i did it!!! :) I called FBI 3 days later, and they said, that they sent my background check the day after the FP back to USCIS.

SO, now,i'm just waiting for my interview letter, or EAD card approval.

Ohhh i'm sooo anxiousssss :(

good luck all..

If you're not too far from where your biometrics appointment is, I'd say give it a try!

I'd read reviews about Santa Ana, CA and how the guard was super mean and didn't let anyone in w/o appointments... but we lucked out and had the nice guard that day and did a walk in! Give it a go :) Can't hurt :)

Ughhh I got shut down at the Modesto office, I walked in and the place was DEAD empty, one family leaving as I walked in so I was the only one there, I asked if I could have my biometrics done earlier, the guy looked at my letter and circled nov 15th on my letter, he said we can't so them 2 weeks in advance, he asked why I wanted it done early and I said I would be out of town the day of the appointment, so he said that I can come back any day the week of the appointment and then wrote on my letter mon-fri 8am-3pm. Imma try again next week since that will only be one week early, hope the same guy isn't working.....

Mine is in 3 weeks. I was wondering about going early. It seems to be moving quickly as I just got my letter and got my nOA1's last week. I'm really desperate to work, so I'm wondering if it speeds it up at all and also, what do I do after biometrics? I have to call the FBI? haha we always have to call so many big offices and stuff...it seems kinda funny sometimes....like, I don't know anyone that has ever called the FBI!! haha! thanks for any help you can give. :)

No you don't need to do anything. You do biometrics and continue to wait.
