I am in the process of filling out the first of the paperwork. I have the I-129F and the G-325A forms. I am wondering if anyone knows... my fiance doesn't speak English too great yet, so he's filled out the documents in his own language. Do I have to have an official person translate these documents or can I do it? I have the form that the translator must sign and whatever... does it have to be notarized? I just want to make sure I do it legally and properly. And also, when I send them in, do I need to include the papers he filled out in his own language too? Or just the ones that are translated? Because his signature is only on the one that is in his language that he filled out. Any help would be great!

As far as I've learned, you should filling all applications with English language. It says on embassy website. Even I can speak English fluently and written as well, but for all documents I let my fiance check all the details to make sure everythings are correct since English is not my mother tongue. It means you can fill all applications by yourself including G-325A that you are both need to sign, That's all I do. Let native speaker do their part.blush.gif
