please my vj family am new here and my visa interview is coming up soon, please i have couple of questions to ask............ when my fiance filed d i-129f he sent like about ten pictures of us together, would the consulate judge us on that amount of pictures? although am taking lots of pictures with me to the interview.

That would be fine, we don't have that much photos when my fiance(husband) sent some of our photos when he filed for i-129f, just make sure to show some other proofs also like phone logs,chat logs, any receipt for every thing that he sent you, etc., etc... best of luck.

I only sent about 10-15 pics, not just of ourselves but with the family and his friends too. The CO mainly was interested in our pics and phone records. He did ask if he had emails and IM but did not want to look at them. Bring as much support as you can. Best regards.

Take more pictures of you and him with family and friends, specially if he has visited you since filing. Make sure you have copies of his recent airline tickets, boarding pass, emails, chats, cards, letters, and phone records. This is Nigerian US Embassy you are dealing with. The CO wants you to prove to him your relationship is real and on going.

Even if he has sent you money via WU if he can provide you with the receipts take those. Good luck! :thumbs:

Feb. 10, 2011 Received txt and email of NOA for AOS, EAD, and AP

Feb. 11, 2011 Check cashed for AOS

Feb. 12, 2011 Touched

Feb. 14, 2011 received hard copy of NOA for AOS, EAD& AP

Feb. 18, 2011 received appt letter for biometrics

Feb. 28, 2011 biometrics appt @10am

Feb. 28, 2011 received txt/email AOS case transferred to csc

Mar 1, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 3, 2011 received hard copy of AOS transfer to csc

Mar 4, 2011 AOS Touched

Mar 28, 2011 Received txt/email saying card production has been ordered. (1month 3eeks 3days)

Mar 28, 2011 Received 2nd txt/email saying we have registered this customer permanent residence status

Mar 29, 2011 Received 3rd txt/email says card production has been ordered.

April 1, 2011 greencard and welcome letter in hand!!

April 5, 2011 received txt/email EAD card production ordered

Will Start Removing Conditions Dec 2012!!!!

Dec. 26, 2012 mailed ROC paperwork

Dec. 28, 2012 NOA for ROC paperwork

Jan. 7, 2013 received bio appt letter

Jan. 24, 2013 bio appt.

June 22, 2013 10yr green card received

pics are very important! my fiance didnt get her visa due to lack of pictures.. make sure u have lots of pictures!!!! Also make sure other people are in the pictures with you guys such as friends and family members.. we only had pictures of me and her together and the interviewer at the lagos consulate office told my fiance that that wasn't enough proof.. he wanted to see friends and family with us in addition to pics of just us together...

Nov 9th 2010 Petition received at California Service Center

May 4th 2011 Received petition Approval letter

May 12th 2011 Received Letter from NVC stating info has been forwarded to Lagos consulate office

July 14th 2011 Received Fiancé Visa packet and interview date (via email)

Sept 20th 2011 Interview day! Visa not approved.. Requesting more proof :-(

Sept 28th 2011 Second interview scheduled for early December :-)

Dec 5th 2011 Interview rescheduled consulate office caught fire :-(

Dec 6th 2011 Visa APPROVED!!!! :-D

I sent in only 8 I think with the 129F. Will be taking around 200 to the interview.

I agree. The CO has been known to ask for us pictures from couples. :thumbs:
