Oh really sorry to hear that... That is really a lot of questions, when I had my interview in Manila embassy, it's only take 5 minutes, oh thank God not like that,or else i may get so nervous then, the CO, just ask me 2-3 questions and then he said I think everything is ok so i got approved then..

But at least now you knew what kind of question they may ask so you can be more prepare by next time if ever you will try to apply for visa again... Good luck.

this is list of some questions and some are not in the order as she asked me !!

i hope they can help to clear up my situation

When did u meet her ?

On line when exactly ?

Myspace do u have other Americans and other Moroccan friends there ?

When ur relationship turned romantic ?

when did tell her I love you ?

when did she come to visit u ?

how long she staid there ?

what was her work ?

what kind of school she was in ?

where was she exactly in south Korea ?

is this school famous or not does Koreans now it ?

who is the director of that school ?

how many people was she teaching ?

what’s her job now ? and what she do ?

when did she start it ?

how much money she earn in total of the year ?

how much she get paid now ?

how much money she had on the bank now ?

who is the director of that company that she work’s for ?

how many hours she works and for when she start and she finish her job ?

her father’s names ?

theiere work ?

where they live ?

where they come from and when ?

name of her best friend ?

bothers name and age ?

what her brothers like to do in thiere free time ?

what movies they like ?

what’s the hobbies of the older one ?

the last movie he watched ?

what she like to do on her free time ?

what movies she likes a lot ?

last movie she watched ?

when its her birthday ?

do u send her gifts ?

oh

did she still Christian Adventist is she going to be moslim soon ?

did she go to church ?

how much time she spend on there ?

tel me something about her religion ?

do u want to have kids ? and what shloud be there religion ?

why u didn’t get married before when she was there ?

these are just the questions I remember it was more than that a lot

Most of these questions are irrelevant and even irrational. I'm sorry to inform you that these folks just wanted to deny the Visa at any costs. Is the lady older than you?

Something might have triggered those questions to be asked by the CO..

Basically, the questions came because the CO believes you should know more about your fiance's families since they're all in the social network MySpace, where both of you met.

Please work mostly on those questions asked because they may likely come up again if you refile.

Great point. Meeting in a social network can be a double edged sword.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

i couldn't answer the financial and professional questions that she asked me but anything else was fine and i prove to her that i know almost everything about her personality and how she is and her family !!

Well, you missed the most crucial information, given the answers are provided in the affidavit of support and supporting documents. That would've raised a red flag to me too, I hate to say. It means you didn't read any of the documents you submitted (autobiographical info,, affidavit of support, etc.)

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

Yes I realize that..i think either you got me mixed up with another poster or misread what I was asking...was actually asking about the original questions the OP posted ....

I didnt ask about those questions (about the brother movie etc..) as that would have nothing to do with the denial .. I wanted to know what things he couldnt asnwer or answered wrong and as you see the info that the OP gave us was huge as the financial and professional info which ws what happened... its necessary to know EVERYTHING about the SO...especially for the MENA countries

Ah, yes, I just wanted the OP to know that trying to memorize all the answers to all of those questions - when obviously they asked some way-out there questions - would probably be a waste of time, but he should focus on those questions you mentioned. Sorry, didn't mean to reply to your post, but just to reiterate what you said. It can easily be explained why you wouldn't know what your fiance's brother's last movie was, but not easy to explain why you don't know the financial situation of your fiance. :)

LOL no prob... and to be quite honest.. I dont even know what my own brothers last movie was.. i think they ask things like that to get your feathers ruffled adn then to for the jugler after that...

I know my hubby had a hugeeee interviw lasted almost an hour but he was able to asnwer every single question and baack it up with evidence... that is hugely important as well to give an asnwer and then show proof of it..

Wow I'm so sorry.

I always feel that it is best to SHOW evidence to answer a question asked, rather than himm and haww trying to remember. the financial questions when you submit the application and the time to interview can change, so if you were to answer a question like "how much does your fiancee have in the bank" would fall under an evidence question, where you can pull out the very latest bank statemnt you just got from her and show the interviewer. I know that for my wife's interview we packed evidence at time of interview she had everything organized and knew where to get the information quickly and confidently and this confidence and organization made a nervous time go quickly and not awkwardly.

In our case the questions asked were easily supported by evidence with a verbal confirmation. Can you answer in depth how you prepared for your interview and what exactly you brought in your interview support material to show the interviewer?

you can gain some valuable lessons from this, unfortunately it tugs so hard at your heart you have to face the process with positive confidence.

Is it possible you will get married and refile under CR1 then having your wife on site for interview help, I'm not sure in Morocco, but it really did help us I am sure. My wife was prepared when the VO asked is your husband here with you, and she pulled out my passport to show him.

As far as the other questions about what are her brother's hobby's? seriously these are so far fetched obviously you can't prepare every answer to a questions like these, but if you were to spend some time in contact with her family, which I am sure you have done on some level, would make you feel comfortable answering questions that may answer generalized questions that will satisfy the specific questions.

What movie did her brother last see, well I don't know about that he is really into science fiction movies so I bet it was something like that..

Anyway you have a lot of work and decisions to make, but as we all have learned, you are planning to live a lifetime with your Fiancee, so it is worth the journey either it being bumps or smooth.

Good Luck and I wish you success in near future

If you didn't answer the financial and professional questions, that draws a huge red flag and it's means you don't have enough knowledge of the relationship, that's why you were denied.

Quiet honestly, I am not a big believer in hiring lawyers, but, in certain situations, consulting with a good immigration lawyer (USA K1 issues) really helps couples especially during the interview and certain countries.

Good luck

Did you fail in any of these areas during interview process?

Some common reasons for denial include:

1. Missing documents

2. Incorrect paperwork

3. Insufficient income/savings of the U.S. citizen sponsor

4. A very large age difference between the couple can cause concern.

5. Fiancee can not obtain written consent from the ex-husband for their child to leave the country

6. Poor English skills of fiancee

7. Couple hasn’t spent enough time together in person

8. Couple lacks sufficient evidence of recent day-to-day contact

9. Fiancee interviews poorly and the consul doubts that there is a bona fide relationship with the U.S. citizen

10. Fiancee has relatives or friends in the U.S. who seem to be taking too large a role in match-making

11. Fiancee was previously in the U.S. and overstayed the visa

12. The U.S. citizen has previously sponsored a foreign national for a green card and the U.S. citizen can not prove that the foreign citizen maintained lawful status

13. Fiancee has a criminal record

14. Fiancee has a serious, contagious illness (such as AIDS, tuberculosis, etc.)

15. Fiancee commits a misrepresentation during the interview (or so it seems to the interviewing officer)

16. Petition includes a document that is deemed to be fraudulent

Everytime i read something like this it made me think that the CO is unfair however sometimes its the applicant that triggired the CO to do so. The applicant should do his/her homework from the day it was file up to getting the visa.

I wish you goodluck to whatever you're plan is. Dont loose hope :)

i got denied on my interview and she told me that i didn't answer all the questions so what plan should we make, cause i feel lost

so please any help from you will be so great

Work harder on your relationship and generate all kinds of evidence that shows to anyone that it is a legitimate relationship.

Consider getting married there and then trying for a CR-1 since these types of visas see more success in that country.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)
