INTERVIEW TOMORROW!!

Just got off Skype with my fiance before he heads to Jordan for his interview! He has 9 pounds of documents with him, meticulously organized and quadruple checked for accuracy.

Its been so crazy! We got our case transfer approved, got an interview two weeks later, he had to go to Jordan for his medical and to pay the visa fee earlier this week and went back to Syria on the same day. And now, two days later, he is going again, inshallah staying with a friend of a friend overnight, then going to the interview first thing tomorrow morning!! What a whirlwind! This is what over a year of love, waiting, and working has come down to!

Pleaseeee make du'a, pray for us, send us good vibes, etc!!!!! Inshallah ya rabb!

Alhamdulillah the interview went well. They need a few more papers re: the Affidavit of Support, which I am not entirely surprised by, and a paper exempting my fiance from his military service. Those will be sent in next week inshallah and then on to AP! But I think its a good thing that at the end of the interview, the CO said "We can't give you your visa today, but here are the papers that we need..."

I think that's a positive sign, right!?

Yahh! As long as your interview is over, that's the best feeling. One question, how did you send the remaining papers that the embassy asked for? Did you confirm with them that they received your further affidavit of support and military documents for your husband?

Yahh! As long as your interview is over, that's the best feeling. One question, how did you send the remaining papers that the embassy asked for? Did you confirm with them that they received your further affidavit of support and military documents for your husband?

We're still working on getting all the papers together. I emailed the embassy to get clarification on the forms (i.e. do they want the IRS tax transcripts or full copies of the returns, for how many years, etc.) but I still haven't heard back. On the form, it said to send the documents via Aramex to the Embassy. In my email I also asked them if they would accept the documents via fax since I would have to send them DHL to Jordan, have Jordan forward them to my fiance in Syria, then have him mail them back to Jordan using Aramex (aren't embargos so much fun?). Once I do send the papers to the embassy (however that may be), I will email them to make sure they were received (the embassy in Jordan refuses phone calls).

Hoping they get back to me soon! I want to send EVERYTHING as soon as I can so we can get this waiting over with!!
