Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: India
Timeline

I had applied around July 7th, 2011 for IR-1

Priority Date is July 12, 2011

I still have not received anything and the last touch was on 7/20/2011

But I have been picking random case numbers near mine and some of them are I-130s and they are being approved.

Obviously I don't know what center they are processing at but I am going through VSC.

I was wondering if anyone else as a priority date around that time and is filing at Vermont Service Center and if so what is your status?

Do you know if it depends on the beneficiary's country as well?

My wife is from India.

It does depend on the country but, your priority date is so close to the applied date. They wouldn't have started processing your form by then.

Just hang in there, I heard IR takes a lot of time. I recon to wait around a couple of more months.

Cheers.
