Hi everyone,

After long journey, finally i got my green card interview in first week of October.

After reading online and doing some search, it's make me scare.

Can any one please guide me what to prepare for interview and what are the questions then asked?

How it works if we did some mistake or something?

How to make document file?

I will appreciate any response.

Thanks

Bring with you a full copy of the original AOS package you sent. Organize the paperwork in a way that makes it easy for you to locate a specific paper, should the IO ask for something. Bring a photo album of selected photos (no need to bring 100 photos, I think 15-20 is more than enough), and make sure to have a few from your wedding. Bring any recent documents, such as new bank statements showing activity in your joint accounts, recent joint bills, etc. Bring originals of all the copies you provided with the AOS - i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc. Remember to bring your passport and SSN card, if you have an SSN number.

Regarding the questions, don't stress about it too much. People make silly mistakes when they get all worked up and stressed out before hand, often for no reason. Of course it is a weird and maybe a bit scary situation, and it's a big important thing for you, but if your relationship is genuine and you know each other, there's no reason why it wouldn't go well. Often the interviews are pretty short, and questions simple, such as parents names, birthdays, how did you meet, talking about each others' work, education, family history, etc.. it's regular every-day stuff. We "practiced" a bit, asking each other questions I got from VJ, and I think it's a good idea to do that. It can be fun, and it takes the edge off a bit.

Take a look at my interview experience in my timeline. Don't stress. It's the worst thing you can do in this situation. Take as much paperwork with you as possible, answer the questions and you'll be fine.
