Oh no ! My fiances daughter has a misspelling on her birth certificate! She will be getting a K-2 visa. On her birth certificate her moms(my fiance's) middle name is spelled Puluto and should be spelled Peluto ! The interview is next week ! All her other documents passport, babtismal, etc are spelled correctly ..Will this be a problem at the interview? How can we change to correct spelling through the NSO?

You do not need to. They do not put middle names on passports or visas and it is not a material matter. If it is truly a bother, then change it afterward however they do such things in the PI's but it is not an immigration issue.

Congratulations though. You are now in the final "HOLY SH*T WHAT ELSE CAN I WORRY ABOUT?" phase. Happens to everyone. Try to think of it as if you are flying a small airplane, you are going to feel every little bump but if you react to every little bump...someone is going to vomit on the windshield! Be cool.

They do not deny visas for typographical errors. In the FSU it is common to have names spelled many different ways, even on the same document. There was not much they could do with "Alla" but our sons, Sergey (Sergii, Sergei) and Pavel (Pavlo) were spelled several different ways despite our best efforts. No problems.

Go to a public lawyer and have an affidavit of Explanation. Been there done that.
